Take Highway 401 East in direction to Kingston/Montreal. 21 km past Cornwall, take Exit 814 at Lancaster, turn left and follow highway 34 through Alexandria, Vankleek Hill into Hawkesbury (about 70 km). In Hawkesbury, continue through village to sign BRIDGE TO QUEBEC. Turn left. Continue over bridge to 2nd traffic lights, junction HWY 148. Turn left direction of Calumet / Hull. Continue on 148 West for about 3 KM. The Hwy continues past Ultramar Station. About 1 KM past station, look for signpost KILMAR/RAFTING. Turn right and continue up the mountain road. Drive about 14 KM to Kilmar (Old mines either side of road.) Look for Quebec Tourist signsn AUBERGE VAL CARROLL. Turn left, down the hill into the Harrington Valley. At intersection at bottom of valley (small white chapel on right) turn right and follow to Auberge Val Carroll for about 5 KM.
